AXIS Transport,Ltd employees familiarized the students with the company, its structure, employee number growth dynamics, management peculiarities

On 25 November 2011 employees of the Transport Management Department Assist. Prof. Virgilija Zinkevičiūtė and Assist. Prof. Jonas Lazauskas met with the partner AXIS Transport UAB social employees Kristina Savinaitė-Bakutienė and Norbertas Akromas. In the course of this meeting Ms. Zinkevičiūtė and Mr. Lazauskas introduced the AXIS Transport UAB employees to the VGTU study process and discussed potential cooperation opportunities. After the meeting, at the Lecture Hall 206 Kristina Savinaite-Bakutiene and Norbertas Akromas gave the Transport Management Department 4^th course students (gr. TE-8, gr. TL-8 and TLu-8 gr.) a lecture on corporate business analysis and management,  during which the AXIS Transport UAB employees familiarized the students with the AXIS Transport UAB company, its structure, employee number growth dynamics, management peculiarities, in particular, drew students’ attention to the Sales Department work principles, management, performance analysis, Sales Department success factors, introduced students to the AXIS Transport UAB performance, practical issues of company performance analysis, career opportunities, explained the means, applying which the AXIS Transport UAB team motivated all of its employees to achieve best operating results possible, and answered students’ questions.
